Bernard Dark Lager Successfully Defends Word Beer Award

The BERNARD Family Brewery has successfully defended last year’s victory in one of the most prestigious world beer tasting competitions, the highly respected “World Beer Awards”, when its Dark Lager won the “World’s Best Dark Lager” prize once again.

BERNARD Dark Lager, with fine yeast culture, won both the Europe’s Best Dark Lager and the World’s Best Dark Lager titles yet again this year.

“It’s really great that we won this title and have been able to defend it after one year,” says Stanislav Bernard, pointing out: “We can see again that the way of brewing honest Czech beer pays off.”

The World Beer Awards have been organised by the Paragraph Publishing company since 2007. The organisers appoint an independent professional tasting jury to choose amongst the registered beer brands. At first the autonomous regional rounds for Europe, America, and Asia are held; only after their completion can the world-wide round take place in the United Kingdom.

BERNARD Dark Lager with fine yeast culture won in its category in 2010 and again in 2011. These awards are yet another follow-up to the other prizes which have been awarded to the BERNARD brand in the world in recent years.
